Michael French
(1951)
Born in Chilliwack, B.C., Michael French is known for his realistic landscapes, often by a shore of a body of water. In his work, there are optimistic atmospheres, clear blue skies reflected in water bordered by luscious green trees and grass. A sense of open space prevails, which he achieves by distant horizons, receding roads and tree lines.
