George was born on July 4, 1954 in Old Massett, Haida Gwaii, BC to George and Sylvia (Kelly) Storry and belonged to the Saangga.ahl Sdast’aas Eagle Clan. George was a gifted Haida artist carrying on in the tradition of his ancestors.
