G. Thomson Biography
(1868 - 1965) OSA
Born near Claremont, Ontario, George was the elder brother of Tom Thomson. He studied law at the University of Washington, Seattle in 1901. From 1906, he studied at the Art Students League in New York and Old Lyme, Connecticut. He eventually moved to Owen Sound, Ontario to pursue landscape painting.
